Today started off cloudy and cleared in the afternoon; the temperature got into the 80’s.
Started the day by riding out of Austin, TX with lots of “weekend cyclist.”
David and I had lunch outside of Cabela’s Sporting Goods Store in Buda, TX and saw this NASCAR.
Also noticed the “hog trap” right next to the BBQ grills; in Texas they get right to the point, no messing around!
We camped at Blanco Texas State Park, there was a large group of people celebrating the Persian New Year, with games and a DJ!
Great pictures. The wagon would have been a much slower way to cross the country but probably not as claustrophobic at night! Keep up the great work and ride on!
