Day 12 – Saturday, March 12, 2011 Total Miles: 428, Today: 40 Miles

Even colder this morning 36^oF, it warmed up quickly to the upper 60s, was sunny and of course a head wind.  A Thrush sung us awake this morning it was beautiful! We stayed in the same KOA Campground that we did the night before.

Passed a couple more self-supported cyclist head east on the Southern Tier, they started in New Orleans and are head to St Augustine, Fl.

Cycled on the Blackwater Bike Trail this morning, nice and it was pretty business, since it was Saturday and a beautiful morning.

Made it to Pensacola, Fl and hope to finish off Florida tomorrow or the next day.

Got back to camp and met with Captain America again.  He told some stories about being caught in the rainstorm on Wednesday and the sun really got to him yesterday.  He’s taking his time waiting for the weather to break before he heads North to St Louis.

Saw some kids (baby goats), and a puppy.  Also saw a foal (baby horse) and an osprey (sorry no pictures).

Just because you have money does not mean you have good taste!
